A FRESH APPROACH
Dr. Bedford teaches students how to combine professionalism and musicality to sustain excitement and eliminate fear of learning. Dr. Bedford breaks from the traditional pattern with only the teacher leading and student following, and encourages his students to take some control of their own lessons.
His students are encouraged first to independently deal with the challenges of learning a new piece of music. They come out stronger for having been given a sense of freedom to find their own way.
Dr. Bedford encourages his students to influence the course of their lessons and to explore their own self-corrective patterns of learning.
